A Surprise Visit from an Old Friend

Since most of my caloric intake these days goes to preventing me freeze to death, I’ve found myself hungrier as of late. So, not feeling like cooking and wanting a bike ride I decide to head up to the nearby conbini. Alas, it was raining so the bike ride turned into a walk. No big deal. Still getting some exercise. So I finally make it, and it’s hella cold. As I’m closing up my umbrella, I take a look at the sky.
“Rain is coming down awfully slow… And is awfully white… Shit.”
