The Critics become the Critiqued! Penny Arcade Adventures Ep. 1

I’ve been a huge fan of Penny Arcade and have been for years. Their humor just works for me. It’s frightening almost to think about how long it’s been since I started reading this comic. I mean, I was in highschool. Early highschool.

My world for a toenail clipper

My toe hurts.

I don’t know if I believe in “karma” but I’m starting to realize why the concept came up in the first place.

I’m sure I’m not unique in my thoughts, and that is what makes me hesitant to put words to paper. Or 1s and 0s as the case may be, but that’s not nearly as catchy. It seems easier to do nothing rather than deal with the claims of intellectual property theft, but then again roughly four minutes or so of silence is copyrighted so we might all be fucked.

Anyway, the reason all this came to me is because of the aforementioned stubbing of my toe this morning. See, a few days ago as I was picking at my toenails as I’m apt to do while watching TV I messed up my pinky toenail right wicked. So I’ve been walking around a little funny at ties because my toe hurts like crazy.

But I’ve been telling everyone I stubbed my toe.

Now this lie doesn’t even register on the scale of one to burn-in-hell. But the point is that I kept mentioning how I stubbed my toe and then it happened. Almost as if by thinking of something enough it was able to subconsciously happen.
