I’d almost say I’ve been socializing too much! Only really put time into two games this week, but I did clear one!
Been crunching away at Chrono Trigger this week, although I still haven’t beaten it. I just got to the one big story point which is rarely done in other games. (Should I really not talk about spoilers for a game this old?) I have put some more time into the monster battling and my monster has started transforming into awesomeness. I still have only gotten shit prizes of weapons I have already sold a while back and potions I have 99 of, but I hear the treasures get pretty awesome in the later tiers of battle. I’ll keep on keeping on.

I’m typing up a larger commentary on the game but it hurt really bad. But I did beat it! It is the first game of 2009 that I have beaten and I hope to make that a ongoing habit. As it turns out, the Japanese version is apparently quite harder than the US version, so while I was discussing it with some people, they seemed confused why I was having trouble where I was. Just turns out the game is harder. Interesting, as I did not know that.
