Three weeks late. Maybe I’m pregnant.
These have been a fairly progressive set of weeks though. Finally completed the  main story line in Yugioh 2009. Beat Ys III for the umpteenth time for whatever reason1. I also started and played Super Metroid to completion. Yeah, I had never beaten it before. I know, I know. I rectified that.
I don’t think there is anything I could say about those three games though. They are all solid, Ys 3 being the one people probably scoff at2. Yugioh World Championship 2009 has a ridiculous story but is a great simulator of the game. Ys 3 is a good sidescrolling action RPG and Super Metroid is goddamned Super Metroid.
We’re heading into Winter which means too many games and too little time. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey came out for the DS a few weeks ago and I haven’t even purchased it. I guess I’m getting better at not spending money on games I won’t play instantly?
Here’s a problem, though. A goddamned new-old-school Final Fucking Fantasy is coming out this Thursday.
I want it.
Bad.
I can’t justify buying it now.
Fuuuuck me. Shit. I’m just going to hold off and keep on pecking at the backlog. According to Backloggery I’m 75.8% unfinished with my collection. That just ain’t proper.
I’m working on the Super Famicom RPG Card Master at the moment. You might know this one, though. It was released as Arcana in the states. It had the cover with the chick holding a sword and some cards. I’m pretty sure that woman isn’t in the game but the game is as awesome as I remember. Sound track is also pretty bitching.
And I’m going to head back to that right now!
