One of these days I’m going to start doing this actually daily like I intend. That day could actually be today because I finally found out Flickr has its own iPhone app. I used to use Shozu but for me that app had been about as consistent as a case of ass-herpes. So I just slowly updated photos while studying kanji today and now I can hopefully easily get my daily photo going again.

Title says it all. I got to get back to actually updating daily but until then, bulk uploads will have to do.
Here they are!
We’ve been busy, that’s all. I kinda ran out of videos to put up and getting together to make them just hasn’t happened as of late. We do have better sound equipment now and the tests are promising so hopefully we’ll be back on the weekly schedule as soon as possible.

This may be no dinosaur story, but I have indeed returned from the land of big ass burgers and baseball. Funny how I saw so much baseball without even really trying.
Anyway, I was thinking maybe I’d get a post up or even get the Let’s Playing videos up but time was limited. Big surprise, I’m sure. I think I’ll throw the two Let’s Playing videos that I had prepared up with this week’s video for a Thuriple Thursday. Be excited.
I’m tired, which can’t really surprise anyone. Being back home was nice but the travel is awful. Eriko and I woke up 3 AM Saturday EDT and got to her place at 10:30PM Sunday Japan Time. For those of you unwilling to do the math, that’s over thirty hours of traveling.
That sucks.
I’ve got pictures to put up, things to write about Dragon Quest and found some Super Famicom games I bought the first time I went to Japan that I’d like to dig into. Right now is a bit of studying before the lady and I go eat some sushi.
But, I am back and I feel fairly rejuvenated and more goal-loaded. Now I just got to start working.
So we’ve decided on a name for our little video project.
Let’s Playing with Eric and Alex, previously done one time as Eric and Alex Wish They Were Japanese Children, should start having weekly updates next week. I’m working on editing videos and I’ve finally gotten that handled at a decent level. The only thing for me to work out now is how the hell I’m going to create a logo that doesn’t suck. I wouldn’t mind if it changed once in a while to improve upon it but I don’t even begin to have an idea of something decent to do. We’ll mostly be playing games that didn’t get North American releases so something that fits that theme would be great. Any ideas would be awesome.

I’ve been really bad at keeping to my daily planing as of late. Partially due to sickness, partially due to laziness and perhaps other reasons that I don’t remember. Point is, my daily photo taking has been iffy to say the least, but the uploading has been even worse. To make things easy, I’m going to fill from the last day I uploaded to today with a bunch of pictures I took in Hokkaido. There will be also some recent ones sprinkled in as well. Sure, this isn’t honest to the daily photo thing, but eh. It is something.
Check the photos out if you’ve some time.
The lag in the previous videos (and a few others I will post) was due to me uploading to YouTube while playing. The fact that it did play as smooth as it did is a testament to something, I’m sure.
I’ve got a good, really good fight going up soon.

I got working what I wanted to get working.
To your left you will see a few new things. I wanted to have ways of updating little bits of random information or to keep a log of my progress on a game. This will let me do that. In the “Currently Playing” section, as it can be seen only one game is there now, but eventually anyone will be able to see my running comments on games. I’m still tweaking things but I’m becoming happier overall with how it is looking.

Despite my deliciously generic WordPress layout, I’m proudly letting loose a new design – on a new server! I am no longer leeching from poor Dereck. Since most of my complaints about my previous website involved things I needed to make myself, I took the easy way out and installed this nifty software.
Enjoy!
